A short
letter.

The studio is one person. I design, engineer and polish digital products for people and companies who understand that how a thing feels is part of how it works.

I have been building software for well over a decade. cbrl was established in December 2020, in São Paulo, as the formal shape of that practice — a company I could use to take work seriously. The intent has always been the same: software that reads as a single considered object, not a committee's compromise.

What shapes the studio today is AI. The studio is designed around it — prototyping, copy, variations, review, tooling. The tool multiplies the thought at every step; the operator decides what ships. Not a shortcut to mediocrity, but the only honest way for one mind to hold the whole product without giving up on the detail.

The focus is on SaaS — building my own products, looking for the one that earns its audience. Alongside that, I take on selected custom engagements for startups, companies, agencies and the occasional individual — whenever the problem is sharp enough to deserve the full treatment.

Vitals

The specifics.

Multi-stack by principle. Years of hands-on experience across JavaScript, TypeScript, Swift, Python, Dart, Ruby and Go — with AI as a force-multiplier across all of them. The tooling adapts to the problem, not the other way around.

Practice

How the work happens.

  1. 01

Start with the shape of the problem.

I spend time with the domain until the problem statement is sharp. A clear brief is the shortest path to a product that deserves to exist; a fuzzy one guarantees rework no matter how fast the tooling is.

  2. 02

Prototype in the medium, with AI in the loop.

I design in code, not in static screens, and I use AI as a drafting partner — for copy, for components, for the ten variations I would otherwise never have time to explore. The decisions about what ships stay with me.

  3. 03

Polish until the last ten percent is the work.

The last ten percent is where a product earns trust — the empty states, the motion, the error copy. I plan for it explicitly and treat it as the work, not as a decoration applied at the end.

If the above reads like how you want your next chapter built, I would like to hear from you.
